The problem we are trying to solve has to do with the fact that the general population does not understand art on first glance, but they want to. It can be hard to engage in this if information is overwhelming and lengthy on the internet. They want to understand why someone made the choices they did when deciding upon technique and materials. They want to rip off the mask and get into the inner workings of what a piece of art truly means. This can engender a sense of humanity, because if someone can relate personally to the art, then it could lead to the museum goer feeling validated, heard, and not so alone in this world.
